The IT budget has gone down - so if Symantec can reduce storage systems and communications spending through de-dupe, IT managers spending will go down despite the extra software costs. At least that's the idea. Oracle, VMWare, Microsoft have all succeeded at various times in the past. I believe Symantec will have a good go this time. Best Wishes Martin Claus
